FROM A FAIR TO THIỆN DUYÊN SHELTER – TURNING BUSINESS INTO A GIFT OF LOVE

After raising funds through AgriFruit Project’s business activities at the fair, I had the opportunity to visit Thiện Duyên Shelter in Phú Hòa Đông, Củ Chi, where more than 60 children and adults with congenital cerebral palsy are being cared for. This visit allowed me to turn the value created from our small business journey into meaningful gifts and, more importantly, into moments of connection and sharing.

Bringing the Fruits of Our Journey to Thiện Duyên Shelter

The gifts we brought to Thiện Duyên Shelter were made possible through the funds raised from selling AgriFruit Project’s products at the fair. For me, this made the journey even more meaningful. What started with Vietnamese agricultural products at a fair had now become something that could be shared with people in the community.
Meeting the children and seeing their daily lives reminded me that the value of a project is not only measured by what it can create for itself, but also by what it can give back to others.

Meeting Má Mười and Hearing Her Story

One of the most memorable parts of the visit was meeting Má Mười, who has dedicated herself to caring for and raising the children at Thiện Duyên Shelter. Listening to her stories helped me understand the love, patience, and responsibility behind this special place.
Her journey showed me that meaningful change does not always begin with something big. Sometimes, it starts with one person choosing to care and continuing that commitment day after day.

From Business to Giving Back

This experience helped me see the connection between entrepreneurship and community impact more clearly. The products we sold at the fair were made from Vietnamese agricultural products, but the value created from those sales could continue its journey by supporting others.
From farmers in the Mekong Delta, to young consumers at the fair, and finally to the children and people at Thiện Duyên Shelter, every step became part of a larger cycle of giving.
I hope AgriFruit Project can continue to grow not only as a project that promotes Vietnamese agricultural products, but also as a journey where business becomes a way to create positive change. Because sometimes, the most meaningful thing we can do with what we create is to share it with someone else.
