Every harvest is the result of experience, perseverance, and a genuine love for farming. As part of my journey with AgriFruit Project to better understand Vietnamese agriculture, I had the opportunity to visit Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh’s mango orchard, where I listened to firsthand stories from a local farmer and learned valuable lessons from real farming experiences.

Learning from Years of Experience

One of the highlights of my journey was visiting Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh’s mango orchard, which covers more than one hectare and produces dozens of tons of mangoes each harvest season for local traders. Walking through the orchard and listening to Mr. Huynh talk about his years of dedication to farming helped me realize that every successful harvest comes from patience, experience, and a deep commitment to the land.

Beyond learning about the cultivation process, I also gained practical insights into maintaining fruit quality, caring for the orchard throughout different growing stages, and adapting farming practices to changing weather conditions and other environmental challenges.

Listening to the Stories Behind Every Harvest

What made this visit especially meaningful was the opportunity to sit down and have an open conversation with Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh. We talked about the challenges that farmers face today, from climate change and pests to rising production costs and fluctuating market prices. These conversations gave me a much deeper understanding of the realities behind every harvest.

We also exchanged ideas about effective cultivation methods, ways to improve fruit quality, and practical solutions for overcoming difficulties during production. These honest conversations not only taught me valuable lessons but also helped me better understand what local farmers truly need. They have given me new ideas for how the AgriFruit Project can continue supporting farming communities in meaningful and practical ways.

Every Visit Is a Journey of Connection

For me, every farm visit is more than just an opportunity to learn about agricultural production. It is a chance to connect with the people who work tirelessly to preserve the value of Vietnamese agriculture. I truly believe that by listening to farmers, learning from their experiences, and understanding their daily challenges, we can help share the story of Vietnamese agricultural products in a more authentic and meaningful way. I hope this journey will continue, allowing more inspiring stories from Vietnamese farmers to be recognized, appreciated, and shared with communities both in Vietnam and around the world.
